Yes i just saw this nothing short of epic film. I love movie sneak previews. I own 3700 movies, i have worked at a video store for the last 9 years... with that said this is one of the greatest films EVER made.

It is a top ten movie for me. Bravo.

Oh wow, nice, so we already have one good review. I can't wait! I'm so excited about this movie. Even more so than I was for The Last Airbender, and boy was that disappointing, especially since I'm a big fan of the series. But from the trailers SPVTW looks very promising and seems to go exactly by the book.

I've read all six volumes. From what I've been hearing the ending is different from the last book due to the fact that the movie was beeing filmed while the last book was being written, so the director had the authors notes and tried to make it similar but its not exact. So dont be too pissed if the ending isn't exactly the same as the books.

Great great movie. Really fun. Favorite scenes had to be the battle with Todd Ingram (Chicken parm isnt vegan?) and the Ramona Vs. Roxy fight (That hammer is awesome!).

i was very happy with the movie. it reminded me of kick-ass, it wasnt exactly how the book was but for a movie it was perfect. everything still went down the same, just the roads to get there were a little different, but it doesnt take away from the epicness at all! everyone please go see it!!!

I did a double movie day yesterday seeing The Expendables and more importantly Scott Pilgrim vs. The World. Scott Pilgrim was just so awesome, one of the most enjoyable times I've had at a movie theater. Not very surprised about the box office take considering it was showing on the smallest screen in a big megaplex and it wasn't full. Their loss. Ridiculously awesome, very well done, Edgar Wright delivers once more. Was hoping for a Simon Pegg cameo though.

I need to see this. It's on my list after Inception. Stupid ticket prices keep going up (second time this year). They're up to $10 in my area. My bf made a good point the other day. For as much as you spend in the theatre, you could just buy the movie for the same price on release. Not really a bad idea.

Oh the game is very epic! and the soundtrack for the game is beyond epic. Its especially fun when you get a group of people together to play.

No, I think the cartoon was just quick little vignettes for cartoon network to get a little background on the characters before the movie hit. I think it really only covered the flashback to when he began dating Kim. Basically just a really cool form of advertising.

It was a Saturday afternoon (today) when I went, and I was surprised it was in the tinyest screen in our whole theater (I honestly didn't know we had small ones left :P), with maybe...12-15 people there --that includes the 4 of us--

The movie was great though. REALLY great. Veeeeery close to ousting Kick-Ass or Zombieland as an "all-time favorite" but fell just short.

Looking forward to the game, will likely write an achievement guide for it. Maybe I'll link it here, I haven't linked any guides yet that I've done for xbox360achievements.org

I went to see Scott Pilgrim VS The World again (yesterday) and there were even less people in the audience. Sad but in a way it felt like I rented the whole place.

Funny thing, there was an elderly lady that was in the audience. I thought to myself, "Is she interested in this movie or went to the wrong theaters?...." As soon as the intro begins, you know where Scott rocks out, she left right away, lol.

Barely 2 minutes and she left.

Elderly lady - 'Such juvenile garbage. In my day, movies were played with gentle piano melodies with nicely written subtitles to read.'

Did you have the comics? If not where did you buy them? I'm looking for a cheap place to get them. So far ebay looks like the best bet.

Yeah, I have them saved in my list on ebay for around $5 each. How much were they at B&N? They sometimes have 10-30% off coupons that might cheapen them up a bit. Plus, if I buy some, then I can let my family get me the others for christmas! :goingcrazy:
