View Full Version : How much to complete a mugg?
I received a mugg today that has not been finished as the maker is being unreasonable in their demands and telling me they might finish it in another month. It is a soccer player and all that is remaining is the shirt number and name on the back which was requested but the customizer did not do it and did not provide a picture from the back for me to see that.
The point of all of this is, how much would people charge to paint those on the mugg and me pay for shipping back and forth from you.

Until I hear back, anyone in the US willing to answer the question as well? I'm trying to resolve this with the customizer as well but they are being unreasonable and fail to properly admit their error and are not readily willing to fix it.

I don't mind sending it to you. I like you, I have no issues with giving you shipping money for such things. So I thank you greatly. I'll ship it out in a day or two and also send the picture needed. You're a lifesaver TO. Thanks man, you're a good man.

I would hope its not somewhere here. All the customizers here are pretty good about everything here. Hope you didn't go with that person that customizes things for $25. I always see his eBay ad trying to sell his customs for $25. Seems like someone who is there to just make money making quantity and gunning for quality for the buyer.

lolz... Which is also what a judge would say (yes, sometimes they actually laugh at you). I would assume you guys are in two different states which makes this even more funny. I doubt the guy knows how much trouble it would be for such a frivolous lawsuit.
Considering the issue was over them paying for their own shipping of $6.50 which they said they cannot afford, I don't see how they can afford a lawyer. It's too funny.
nicky, it is a $25 person who've I dealt with before and they were absolutely flawless so I did not expect this to happen.
Thank you all for the support and TO for the help. I opened a case with ebay and even though I did not ask for any refund, ebay ruled in my favor and decided to give me my money back as well as keep the mugg.

From now on that's what I'll do. I've already worked closely here with two customizers and I might stick with them for now (for financial reasons).

The person is further threatening to sue me for slander. I don't understand how them not facing up to their mistake and asking me to pay for more shipping for their mistake and being annoyed by it makes it slander. After sending the specifications for the mugg I waited 11 days before I sent another message to find out they actually got the message, which they did. That is lack of communication and that is not slander. Should I call their bluff or just leave the topic alone? I can't even think of any other responses anymore to them other then: "You're an idiot."

Neither one of us has a case (not that I want to sue for anything anyway), they're just being ridiculous.

Hes bluffing, and probably a loser, im a correctional officer and my wifes dad is a lawyer, having my basic knowledge in law if he is going to sue you, hed be spending more money on getting a lawyer than he would get out of this case... so personally speaking I would just stop communicating with this individual and move on

Dang, I take some time off from the forum because of school and I read this crazy drama.
Yeah, I'm not quite sure what legal grounds they really have, as the one suing the onus is on them to prove that you purposefully and intently did something wrong.
It's all well documented that you were just being honest. This guy is an absolute ass clown.

Yep, that guy can't sue you and like someone already said, he'd spend more than he'd make. And odds are the judge would just laugh at him anyways. I wouldn't worry about him anymore.
