I think this game is terrible.

The fighting mechanics are rubbish and it is a terrible beat em up that just ruins the heritage of both franchises imo.

Mortal Kombat games have been going down hill for ages now.

Highly Disagree, being a high level player myself online I can tell you that's 100% not true. The 3D MK games aren't the best MK: D, MKA mainly but can be fun, however MKDC is a more 2D oriented the engine which is very good and much better then the previous MK games. It's not rubbish but rather more kustom oriented with stringing together your own combos as oppose to programmed dial ups which is something most gameplay MK fans have been asking for years. There's only two major infinites with one being from Flash, the other from Superman but outside of those two the game is very good and the best MK in years literally...trust me.:cool: Graphically, it's arguably one of the best if not the best fighting game with the tears, scratches, blood, bruising etc and the characters look photorealistic since they took that route as oppose to the anime, cartoony look like other fighters do.

It's not terrible, it's very good on the contrary, how I feel being an MK player thru out the years.

MK owns and as for DC, it's good to finally see them in a good, popular fighting game for once. Marvel had one with MVC now DC has one with facing off against MK in that own series. Supposedly there will be another game to follow MKDC, MKDC 2.

Anywho, this game rocks. I own with Raiden, Scorpion ;)

Flash is annoying and one of the most used characters online but there's ways to deal with him ;)

As for MK mighty muggs, I saw that one by AreJay with Scorpion. Very cool, I made my first kustom speaking of which Raiden from MKDC. I'll post it shortly.

I'm a fan of Mortal Kombat and just got MK VS DC in the mail (Gamefly) a couple of days ago. I wouldn't say MK VS DC is a bad game. It's actually a decent game, simple control, good story on both sides (Two perspective stories from MK, DC characters point of view. No Kung Lao.

BUT I can understand MK fans not liking the Fatality or "Hero Brutality". The game is geared towards teens so the Fatality had to take a backseat although Liu Kang's Arcade Fatality is there. Awesome memories.

That Flash character kind of cheats though. I'm hearing that many online fighters like using Flash because of his quickness but heck, duck and uppercut, pow!
