maybe they wanted just his face (cause the rest looks based off of the modern costume) to be ultimates style, no helmet and the beard/mustache is what he looks like in ultimates. i really hope theres a helmet at somepoint

and i agree with monstr, i dont think he could bulk up more, only comic characters and wrestlers look that big and i would rather him look smaller than be played by a wrestler lol

Those pictures are really more illustration than they are actual photo. You can see all the digital airbrushing. The actual photo of him doesn't look too bad. Granted its shadowed and at an angle.

He has the ultimate thor look, the more modern style costume. I don't think it looks too bad considering the type of character were adapting into a movie. The helmet I don't think would have really worked out. And I'm not much of a fan of the ultimate universe but that was my fave thor costume. Like thor in the animated ultimate avengers, he looks awesome in that.

I agree, I do think the chain mail pants would look better. But I don't really care enough to make it a big deal, I think the costume looks awesome how it is. You can't expect for every little aspect to be comic accurate.
It would be cool if he wore his helmet, but lets be realistic, it would probably be a pain in the ass for them to film action scenes with him wearing it, so I doubt he will.

I think with all the CG that can be pumped into movies today....its ok to make things look a bit more comic like is ok. they can be made to look more realistic.

I mean take original movies from like the 70's Spiderman, Daredevil, Captain America. They looked rediculous because their costumes looks o out of place even though they were comic accurate.

That Mjolnir is only plastic he has knocked the head off it 3 or 4 times.... so its now filled with expanding foam window sealer to keep it from coming apart...problem is it now weighs like two pounds and hurts when he cracks you over the head with it . That Cap shield was from the Marvel booth at Fan Expo in Toronto last year ..I felt bad because my son left a dent in it after they asked him to hit it.
