Spider-Man Reboot

Spider-Man's my favorite superhero and I never really liked Tobey Maguire as Peter Parker or Kirsten Dunst as Mary Jane Watson. So I was pretty excited to hear about the reboot of the Spider-Man movies.

I just read that Josh Hutcherson might be the new Peter Parker. What do you guys think?

the 3 spider-man movies were good. i would much rather see spider-man 4 than see a shitty ultimate time line reboot. I feel bad for Sam Rami. This is not a movie im looking forward to. I love marvel but as far as their movies go.....they suck it.

Spiderman 3 blew hard and I've always hated Tobey as Spidey so I'm glad it's getting rebooted. As for the guys in the running for Spidey, I'm not feeling any of them.

Josh Hutcherson (if it's who I think it is) doesn't strike me as a great actor nor very funny and wouldn't be able to pull off all the wise cracking Spidey spouts. That said, I can't think of any good young male actors.

Dude, I agree with you 100%. Plus, I never liked Kirsten Dunst as MJ either. The third movie still haunts me.. But, I have to say, that Hutcherson looks like the best candidate out of the five actors running for Spidey. We'll just have to see if he can pull it off. Hahaha.

Kick-Ass technically isn't Marvel. The comics are just distributed by Marvel, I believe.

Spiderman only started 8 years ago, they shouldn't be doing a reboot, at least not of how he got his powers and the same villains.

yea it was put out on Icon.

and im still saying the first 3 wernt that bad. its spider-man, hes never been really serious and the movies found a good balance of funny comic book and serious action. And again, ultimate time line? F*** that.

sony still owns the rights to spidey, im patiently waiting for the day that Marvel owns rights to all of their characters as far as films go . . . .

WTF?!?!? The better do some touch ups in post production. Or maybe it was a test/stunt suit? I don't know but that looks so Children's Television Electric Company Spider-man to me.

For anybody who hasn't seen this photo yet. Also, the official title for the reboot is The Amazing Spider-Man. I am ridiculously excited for this movie, I think the costume looks awesome and I think Andrew Garfield is perfect for Peter Parker.
