Saw it on Friday, and I know it has been getting some mixed reviews, but if you liked the first one, you'll love it.

It did sag for a bit in the middle, but the last fight is incredible. Downey Jnr is so watchable. The after-credits scene isn't really worth staying for... man, we sat through a lot of names for that!

not worth staying for?! if i know marvel even as insignificant that scene my seem it has a purpose down the line!

but glad to hear the movie was good!!

I watched it over the weekend and loved it. It's definately more of a Tony Stark movie than it is an Iron Man movie. I'd almost go as far as to call it Avengers 0 due to the groundwork they lay out for the future.

Here in Australia it was released on 29th April. I would've thought a movie this big would've gotten a same day release worldwide.

Oh I see. Hmm never thought that it would come out a whole week earlier. Maybe b/c it gives the celebrities a chance to travel to Australia for the premiere and not have it be so rushed for them?

I hear that Olivia Munn is in the movie but I never seen her unless it's that part where Iron Man is flying around what looks like a parking lot and then people are running away from the glass that's shattering.

Great cameo, there Olivia.

Just saw it, I don't know how you didn't see Olivia Munn, she was right in front of your face talking right at the audience for like a whole minute, hahah.

Incredible movie. Better than the first. Loved every minute of it. Story/Plot- awesome. CGI- awesome. Suit battles- awesome. Actor's performances overall- awesome. Setup for future movies- awesome. Black Widow...

She plays a reporter, it's only a small cameo.

I saw it last night. I liked it, but felt cheated in terms of action sequences. The whiplash fight should have been longer, IMO. I would also have enjoyed more screen time for War Machine. Story-wise, I liked the fact that Tony was hiding his dwindling health from everybody. You really could sympathize for the guy. It was also a nice lead-in for the Demon in a Bottle story-line, watching Tony completely wasted IN his Iron Man suit. That's worse than drinking and driving....lol. Overall, I liked it. Dunno why, but I didn't walk out of the theater as stoked as I was after Kick-ass. Still, I'm definitely going to watch it again. ^_^

Reminds me of Transformers 2 and Spider-Man 3. Whenever the plot gets more comicy or has more characters, it becomes a reason to nitpick for critics/non fans. Why? Its a superhero flick!

People just complain about character development and it's annoying.
As long as the main established characters are developed enough, who cares about all the extra characters they put in.
Most of the time the certain extra characters are just for fan reaction anyway.

I liked the movie... not as much as the first but it was still very fun. good action and very funny. Whiplash's last fight was kinda weak though. I didn't really like the fight against Iron Monger in the first movie either. Hopefully the next Iron Man movie (be it Iron Man 3 or Avengers) has a longer more back and forth fight against the villain.

Just saw the movie. It's pretty good. I was wondering how Whiplash can fight against Iron Man and not die but the fight was reasonable and entertaining.

Hmm, Olivia. I did see her and yes a good "cameo."

The "Secret" ending was really good.

Anyone else feel weirded out by a "person" who was in this movie and no longer with us today? I'm not trying to sound disrespectful but it was tough for me to fully enjoy that scene with that guy plus the songs they first played "Another bites the dust."

My friend was weirded out by it...but me not so much...i didnt really know who he was so if she didnt say anything I wouldnt have known. But it's like she said, are they just going to cancel the Dark Knight cause Heath died ?

My favorite part was with the Cap. shield because in the first movie the shield was proven to just be an easter egg and not relevant at all, and with this movie they completely showed the shield was insignificant and not really foreshadowing that he builds the caps shield. I really can't wait for the Captain america movie since he's my favorite super hero. I've never really taken a true infatuation to any other super heros

I just hope he doesn't play Captain America with humor like he did with The Human Torch (although that's Human Torch personality.)

Of course it would lack the discovery quality of the first, the first was an origin story. This is a sequel. I would expect that people would go into the theater prepared for that. Just my opinion.

Right. I heard it was pretty good. Then again it's one of the few exceptions to the rule. Especially since it was being developed as a different Wolverine game and then they got approached to make it a movie tie-in.

Goldeneye? Don't know if that really counts as a movie tie-in, and I never really played it, but people seem to swear by it. Super Star Wars games were awesome. The snes Jurassic Park game was fun-ish, had awesome music at least.

Then of course theres this gem: Street Fighter The Movie The Game (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=t4UdQVYkCZg)
