Do you cut vinyl shapes and stick them on? I can see a bit of a raised texture to the shape edges that makes me ask. I was wondering about using a digital vinyl cutter to do something like that. It would help give really clean edges.

I digitally make the spikes and cut them out and stick them on. I'm not the best at making clean cirlces. The rest is painted. I use layers of paint. I start out with a base, then cut out shapes of painters tape and place on, then paint the next color. When all finished I remove all the tape an waaalaaah. that's how I do it. It kinda gives it a raised and lowered texture.
