During the last episode of House that I just watched there was a hostage situation. When the SWAT team attempted to negotiate with the captor by using his name House said that it just made them sound creepy. This reminded me of a scene in a movie or tv show I saw however I cannot place what movie or show it was. I was hoping someone here might be able to help me out. Here is all I remember:
A man is holding at least 1 woman hostage. She is trying to negotiate with him by using his name. The man tells her something to the effect of "Stop using my name. I know what you are trying to do. You are trying to identify with me. Make me feel human." She keeps using his name though and he becomes angrier the more she does. He starts yelling things like "STOP CALLING ME THAT!"
Unfortunately I cannot recall any more details like what they were wearing or what they looked like. Does this sound familiar to anyone?
