I was trying to decide what custom Mugg I would attempt first. I wanted to do a character that I hadn't seen done before that would be fun. I also wanted to use a custom accessory like the capes or helmets. Then I it hit me how perfect the Indiana Jones would be for Mr. Fixit, one of my favorite random Marvel characters. Thus was born this Mugg.
I learned a ton doing this first one. I tried masking off areas with tape, I tried a variety of markers, different acrylic brands and brushes. I made mistakes and had some successes. (never attempt pin striping with cheap walmart pens, haha- the thing dried up every quarter of an inch- so frustrating).
Next time, I want to try airbrushing and stencils instead of painting with brushes. We'll see how that goes, anyway, enjoy! The close-ups show all the mocking mistakes and brush strokes, haha. Live and learn. I'd be happy to answer any questions on my process.

Here's my Adobe Illustrator mock-up for it. I think I was pretty close, some things I purposely changed.
