Don't be affraid to use some force, Muggs are built very well. I have strong hands so you guys may need some practice,lol.

the video is definitely helpful, but it's a little hard to see the details.

I know it's hard to see all the details but basically it's lining up your flat screw driver head to the crauch seam and hammering through. Once you are in about half way, start prying. Keep in mind you're using the screw driver as a krobar. Make sure that while you are doing this with your dominant hand, you're using the other one to hold down and push the head and arms(ONLY THE HEAD AND ARMS).

i'm gonna try it as soon as i find my flathead....

do you end up doing much crotch damage?

man when it cracks it really cracks!!

i had to whack it a few times to break it, only prob i have is that i think i may have actually caused a crack on the front of the body which is now slightly indented. can i use putty to smooth it out?

Make sure you hammer the screwdriver straight down and not on an angle. Just use some apoxie sculpt on the damage.

did anothe rone tonight and it was a real pain to crack, ended up with the screwdriver at the base of the ehad so when i turned the screwdriver the ehad turned too!! eventually cracked it open though.

Don't go so deep. The tip of the screwdriver should line up with the middle of the torso. Don't twist the screwdriver,pull up on it and at the same time push down with the other hand.

a lot of people boil action figures/muggs to take them apart.

it softens the glue.
