he probably got them from Taobao, and now he's selling them for profit on ebay. i looked into it a while back, and ordering one of these from Taobao and having it sent to the U.S. only would have been like $25, so if he sells these, he is definitely making profit off of them.

both, new unreleased muggs always surface from china, tawain, singapore, malaysia, etc first...be patient and dont give in, 69 bucks almost made me puke on my desk...

That is if they even make it to full production. for instance, take a look at the shipwreck mugg that was on ebay a long time ago. he was never produced.
