It's an original idea, but i'm not sure i'm a fan of it. Although, it's very well crafted, i'll give 'em that.

sorry in advance to the creator...but I am not a fan. The leggs are far to wierd.

I think if he would have made the legs more slanting down at a straight angle instead of curved, it would have looked a lot better. But at the same time, the whole curvyness is a lot more muggish. But he compromised that by taking the whole mugg apart anyway. So i'll stick with the straight legs, haha.

That why my r2-d2 was just the mug head, I didnt wanna attempt any sort of legs. I could. and might in the future.. but, I dont wanna put any effort into Star wars items, because sooner or later, they will be released.

migad.. im sorry but that is not r2 d2.. and i think r2 d2 is one of those characters that cant be mugged.. if it is then hasbro could have made it long time ago along with C3PO

That is R2D2's evil twin. Its inventive and the colours and details are well executed. But Its just the construction that gets me. I agree with most everyone here.
