Ok since I'm a crazy/helpful person I decided to get to the bottom of this. None were on eBay and I have seen no mention of anyone with one in hand. Something seemed wrong. So I had to know and I called the three Toys 'R Us' within a 25 mile radius of Hudson, FL where Vulcan lives.

Knew what Mighty Muggs were and the kid was quite excited that they had made a Punisher one. Sounded like he liked the line but didn't know they had even planned on making Punisher. So the store did not have it. They do have Wolverine, Spider-man and Doc Ock if you are interested.

Asked me who I was lookingfor and I said Punisher and then asked me if I was looking for anyone else and I said Jigsaw. As soon as I said Jigsaw I was like I made a mistake. Woman got back on the phone to tell me they had no Punisher Jigsaw puzzles but they had spongebob. As if explaning Muggs wasn't annoying enough. I told her what happened and she looked again. No Punisher or Jigsaw but they have a Ghost Rider. If people live in this area keep readign to complete your Marvel Wave three.

Here was the most trouble. I was informed that she asked her manager and they've never heard of them. I informed her they had them. She connected me to the manager and after a long wait must have realized what they were. They had Indiana Jones, Star Wars and Marvel he informed me. Cool, I'm looking for Punisher who is a Toys R' Us exclusive. A really long wait. No Punisher. I checked in the back and everything I was informed. They do have Thor.

So that is what I could find out. Vulcan was one of these the store you called? If so I'm going to guess that the guy messed up and we will have to continue to wait. Good saves me some gas money for a bit.

Oh yeah and here's the best way I've found to ask for them. Start off like"oh yeah I have to tell you what I want don't I?" People like helping people more who seem dumbe. It's true. "Then go I'm looking for these comic book (or star wars or indiana Jones) action figures called Mighty Muggs." They are about six inches tall and come in these little boxes. Now hopefully you get lucky and someone knows what you are talking about and interrupts you. Pause a little bit before each bit of descriptive info so they hopefully interrupt. That's about it. If they say they don't have them say that they do. Then tell them how to find them." They are in the boy's toys aisle. They are on the first shelf under the peg toys if you look down you will see the tops of boxes with just close-ups of character's faces on them."

Anyway I hope that helps other callers. Can you tell I've been doing this too much lately, heh? Got Marvel wave four finally though.

First response- Don't have them, hung up on me.
Second Response- Was Told I need to contact housewares, not toys (mugs). hung up.
Third Response- Starting naming Galactic Heros Toys. Corrected them, they put me on hold.
Fourth Response-Found them. They have Ma Ma Ma Ma ummmm Weendo (mace windu) and Jungle (jango fett)

Another Wal-mart Call:
Asked which Muggs they had, she said a Jedi, a stormtrooper, and imperial guard. Asked her to check again, and to read exactly what they said. She came back, said Luke, Stormtrooper, Clone commander cody, and Imperial Guard. She said the "imperial guard" was blue. Made her triple check, and confirmed their was an "imperial guard" and that is what was printed on package as imperial guard (a super rare variant?). So me and my husband drove 30 miles to find a luke, cody, Jango Fett (blue imperial guard?), emperor palpatine (sounds like Imperial?), and a mace windu. She said she read "imperial guard" from the package. Plus no Stormtooper, but she said cody AND a stormtrooper. And they're were five, not 4 muggs.

Case in point, sometimes calling doesn't work. Not saying it never works, just wanted to share some of my calling angst.

Anybody could have Punisher and just Doesn't want to put it out or they have them for them selves. When I worked at Best Buy we would get movies a month or so in Advance, but of course on the package it says "Do not put out til XX/XX/XXXX"

I was trying to help by saying stop looking for Punisher, specifically, because of his street date being November. So let's say I drive to a Toys R US 3 times a week for 2 months looking for Punisher, that's 24 trips. You know how much gas that is? Even if you live close by starting and stopping your car takes up gas and wear and tear. You'd be better off just paying $30 on ebay instead of wasting the time and money. Read earlier posts on this thread about calling stores. I call stores all the time, but happen to live close to stores so sometimes I just go, because I got other things to buy anyways.

I was trying to say....now listen...that it is not worth it for whoever said in a earlier post they went to TRU looking for a Punisher THIS EARLY. Punisher more than likely will not come out anytime soon. I'm not complaining about gas really. I'm just saying THAT POSTER would be wasting gas, and more importantly in my book THE TIME, and equally important THE FRUSTRATION of looking for Punisher.

I strongly encourage them to call, it's just that calling is NOT the definite answer. Proof of that, is that despite you saying a TRU told you they had a Punisher, you don't have him, no one here has him, no online retailers have him, no one on ebay has him. Speculating that the comic book store has him is no proof either.

I go "muggin" often. I often drive great distances. Gas is not an issue for ME personally, I just know it's a concern for others. I also call places all the time, it's just that sometimes, you need to take that for a grain of salt. Like I addressed earlier; Should I call around places for Transformer mighty muggs when they're not out yet? No, and same with this particular mugg, which isn't suppose to come out until November.
